Website Design

Complete, custom website design including associated page layout and coding, javascript animation (such as scrolling messages, slide shows, etc.), bandwidth optimization, and cross-browser support (to include Internet Explorer, Mozilla, Mozilla Firefox, Netscape Navigator, Opera, and Sea Monkey). All sites will be optimized for and registered with the most popular search engines (to include Google, Yahoo, Alta Visa, Hotbot/Lycos, and MSN).

Graphic Design

Design of all website graphic elements including logos, backgrounds, ads, borders, bars, and bullets. Matching business card, stationary, flyer, brochure, and advertisement design is also available. Graphic design is priced separately from website design, since some clients already have a design concept in place or in process. The price of website design (above) includes incorporation of client's existing design concepts as well as co-ordination with the graphic designers employed by clients.

Photography

Photographs and photographic enhancements of the business, staff, products, etc. to be used for website graphics and picture galleries. Photography is priced separately from website and graphic design, as some clients may wish to provide their own photographs and can save money by doing so.

Copy Writing

Writing/Editing of verbal website content. This includes meeting with clients to understand the exact nature of the organization to be represented, researching and implementing available website links that might offer further details or clarification, and determining proper contextual placement of text on the website. This can range from helping clients to determine overall website content (i.e. what types of pages to include) to writing website content and/or enhancing content that has already been written.

Content Management System

Complete, custom Content Management System (CMS) programming and design. A CMS enables one (namely, the website owner) to manipulate the website’s content. It is a separate, secured part of a website that contains user-friendly menus and forms which can be used to change the public portion of the website. (See my portfolio for examples of CMS systems I have programmed.)

I use sophisticated error checking and time saving features to ensure these systems are efficient and easy to use. As an example, go to my "Contact" page, enter an invalid email address (leave out the "@") along with your name, and see what happens.

This is ideal for car lots, realtors, online stores, online newspapers, fire and police departments, bloggers, and much more. Examples: Inventory Listing, Alerts/Specials Box, Business Hours, Products Gallery, Photo Gallery, Calendar, Coupons, Customer Comments, Statistics, News Stories.

Domain Registration and Hosting

For a very nominal fee, I can register the website’s domain name and set the website up with a reliable, reputable hosting facility on the web. (That is, I can “publish” your website on the World Wide Web.) This includes finding the best deal and the best fit for each individual website, performing all site deployment tasks (e.g. site upload, email account set-up, database deployment, etc.), and setting up payment schedules that best meet the needs of the client. This is broken out separately from website design as some clients already have such facilities in place or they prefer to do this part themselves.
